Here’s a list of a few side gigs that you could be doing now for either active or passive income.

🔥 Dental hygienist or part-time dentist on Saturdays (I did that for a couple of years after graduation).

🔥 Drive for Uber or Lyft

🔥 Medical Consulting

🔥 Brand ambassador for scrubs company, toothpaste company, cosmetic company, etc (Instagram is a great place to get noticed)

🔥 Join a telemedicine or teledentistry company (I did that for a little while and still do so from time to time)

🔥 Chart Review

🔥 Be part of Clinical Trials

🔥 Be an expert witness

🔥 Complete medical Surveys

🔥 Review Health Insurance Claims

🔥Perform dental exams or physicals for military members (I did this for 2 years during my debt repayment journey and used the extra cash from that side job solely towards repaying my loans. That’s mostly what I used to have a successful debt snowball strategy revisited (on steroids).

🔥Part-time position at a nursing home (I did this for a few months. I wasn’t a fan at all as I found it to be depressing but 2-3 hours a week of doing that helped)

🔥Per diem/locums tenens positions (I enjoyed doing that)

🔥 Do moonlighting

🔥 Invest in real estate

🔥 Invest in crowdfunding

🔥 Invest in tax liens

🔥 Invest in syndication

🔥 Do Airbnb (Take out a physician loan, acquire a multi-family property. Live in one unit and rent out the other units).

🔥 Invest in peer-to-peer lending

🔥 Invest in the stock market

🔥 Write a book or start a blog about your experience working as a doc, or anything else you are passionate about

🔥 Start a youtube channel

🔥 Sell a course

🔥 Do affiliate marketing

🔥 Sell items on Craigslist, Etsy or Ebay (I sold a few things on Craigslist and made fast cash like that). It wasn’t much but it helped!

🔥 Join AthenaHealth

🔥 Buy shares in labs or refer to labs

🔥 Purchase a franchise

🔥 Invest in Angel MD, to name a few.
