Financial literacy book for little ones

Financial literacy book for little ones
I graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2011. I had about $ 250,000 in total student loans with no idea how interest rates really worked and how to pay off such a large amount of debt.
.
I am from Haiti where credit, student loans, etc. were not really a thing, especially not $250,000 in student loans!!!
To top it all off, I took a job making less than six figures!
.
That’s when my financial literacy journey really began… Despite all obstacles, I was able to pay off $ 250,000 of student loans in 4 years, started creating wealth and promised myself that when I have children to start teaching them early on about debt and wealth building.
I didn’t want my daughter having to go through any of the financial trials that I had to go through…
👉drowning in student loan debt
👉$4 in my bank account
👉 card getting declined
👉Being hit with overdraft fees
👉Not knowing how to invest, to name a few embarrassing things
I shared my vision with my best friend, Dr. Alesia Burge and boom💥 Lily and the talking piggy bank was born!
.
I dedicated the book to my daughter “Lily”.
.
Dr. Burge and I hope that all young minds be inspired by this book and start getting ignited and fired up about financial literacy and wealth-building.
