After working with so many doctors over the years, I have realized more and more that money habits start early on. If good money habits were taught early on, if money was not so taboo, doctors would have less frustration with money in adulthood. I decided to put that info for children and make talking about money less taboo. I shared my vision with my best friend and colleague, Dr. Alesia Burge. And just like that “ Lily and the talking Piggybank: Let’s learn about money” was born!” it’s the perfect intro book to financial literacy for children.
It’s our goal that this book starts igniting children’s interest in financial literacy.
